North Scottsdale Peptide care, explained

A guide to care questions.

Find care

How does care by screen work in Arizona?

Telehealth is care at a distance. The method can change; the need for an assessment remains.

Where you are matters

As of October 3, 2026, some clinicians with a licence elsewhere can use Arizona telehealth registration to care for a person who is physically in Arizona.

Registration means signing up with the matching Arizona licence board and meeting its requirements. This registration and a full Arizona licence are different permissions.

Tell the service the place where you will attend the visit. Ask which state licence, Arizona registration, or other legal permission lets the person treat you there.

A room visit is not always the first step

Arizona’s rules checked on October 3, 2026 did not make an in-person examination a requirement before every remote prescription.

The clinician still needs a proper examination. The exact medicine may also have rules that limit prescribing by screen.

The clinician must decide whether a hands-on examination or treatment is needed. If it is, care by screen alone will not be enough.

Ask which parts of your visit can happen by screen and which need an in-person visit.

Phone-only care has a narrower definition

As of October 6, 2026, Arizona counts phone-only care as telehealth when the clinician finds video is not reasonably available for specified reasons.

The reasons concern physical or mental abilities, a lack of needed technology, or gaps in phone or internet service.

That definition alone does not show that a particular medicine can be prescribed by phone.

Consent is part of the visit

Consent is agreement to care after someone has explained it. Arizona usually requires it for telehealth under rules checked on October 3, 2026.

You can agree aloud, in writing, or electronically. If you agree aloud, it must be written in your record.

The law makes exceptions for certain emergencies, some information sent to a specialist for a diagnosis, and some consultations without the patient present. These exceptions do not make agreement optional for every visit.
